A Multicenter, Double-Blind, Randomized, Placebo-Controlled, Dose Response Study to Evaluate the Safety and Efficacy of A Single Treatment of BOTOX® (Botulinum Toxin Type A) Purified Neurotoxin Complex Injected into the Prostate for the Treatment of Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms in Patients due to Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia

This study is for men who have BPH. Symptoms may include the following:

A need to urinate often (especially at night), a weak urine stream; incomplete bladder emptying, urgency, leaking or dribbling.

This study is suitable for men who:

  • Are 50 years and older
  • Have lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) for at least 3 months
  • Have not had previous prostate or bladder surgery or previous or current prostate or bladder cancer
