Promoted as an aphrodisiac, yohimbine is the active ingredient
from this West African Yohimbe plant. It contains an alkaloid
that produces blood vessel engorgement in the pelvic area
and therefore stimulates the lower center of the spinal
cord.

Yohimbine can cause weakness, paralysis, gastrointestinal
problems and even psychosis. Yohimbine is sometimes prescribed
for treatment of impotence. However, self-medication is
strongly discouraged because of its side effects.
This medication is painless and discreet (no additional
equipment is needed).Yohimbe bark is a natural substance.
Yohimbe generally of no value when impotency stems from
organic nerve troubles, and it can be harmful when used
for impotency caused by chronic inflammation of the sexual
organs. |
